Amsterdam, 1647, In original o/l colours.. 415x532mm. Paper slightly age-toned and offsetting due to oxidation of ink. Wide margins. Generally in good condition.
Heightened with gold dots
In the north the Murmansk Sea. Including the western coast of Nova Zembla. Title cartouche and two cartouches, the bottom right one showing two hunters, bears, stags etc. The cartographer of the map was Isaac Massa (1586-1643) who was a Dutch cartographer and traveler to Moscow.
