1820, Original colours.. 325x475mm. Gouache on thick paper. Outer margins tinted in grey, with title and signature in black ink. The margins with some two small tears running 3cm. into the margin, and some other outer marginal shaving.
The surface of the gouache with some minor rubbing, resulting in some very minor surface rubbing of colours.
Overall in very good condition.
Very decorative view of Katwijk. Signed lower right, Louis Bleuler au chateau de Laufen . Original design by Louis Bleuer.
This gouache was the model for his aquatint in his famous book 80 Rheingegenden published in 1826....
