The engravings are done by Dulendo after Jacob de Gheyn.

Amsterdam, 1708, Orig. col., marginal illustr. uncoloured.. 432x510mm. A clear split in lower centrefold (reaching c. 110 mm into engraved surface) reinforced on verso. The verso slightly tanned barely affecting the recto at all.
A very well preserved copy: Strong impression of the uncoloured features, the original colour fresh, wide original margins.
Celestial chart from Andreas Cellarius' famous atlas showing the planetary aspects of the zodiac. The center bears a circular North Polar projection map of 120 mm in diameter.
