For more than 40 years we have been selling genuine old maps, atlases, prints, posters. Every item on this site is clearly dated and priced and was engraved on copper, unless otherwise stated.
Measurements exclude the margins and are provided in both millimeters and inches, with height given first.
Colour was done by hand. 'Original colours' means that the item was coloured at, or about, the time of it's original publication. When the term 'Coloured' appears, it means that the map was more recently coloured, likely in this century or at the end of last century.
A colour code is used and we use a condition rating system. In addition, we have created a unique HiBCOR grading system which we believe can assist all collectors in forming a collection. Please take the time to read this.
