Augsburg, 1761, Original Colouring. 570x495mm. In fair condition. The map was mounted on canvas and a wood strip was added to the top and bottom to make it a hanging map. There are many wrinkles. There are areas mainly along the bottom of the map that have the map portion rubbed off. The sides have chips and appear to have had tape attached at one time. The map has more than usual age toning.
Map of North Rhine-Westphalia (Germany) featuring the Duchies of Iuliacensis, Cliviensis and Berg. The map has a very large cartouche featuring five crests with crowns, a queen and two putti.
