Purchases made by EU residents and whose items will be delivered within the EU will be invoiced, handled, and shipped by Joppen et Loeb Associes SARL, 31 rue de Tolbiac, Paris, France.
Such items are sold under the European VAT margin scheme, and the invoice includes VAT (VAT is not deductible under Article 297 E du CGI). The items will be shipped from Paris, and therefore, no import duties are payable by the buyer.

A flat shipping fee is added for shipments :
$ 30 to North America.
€ 25 to Europe
This covers International Priority shipping, Packing, and Insurance (up to the invoice amount). If you have two or more items, we charge a one-time shipping fee only.

Shortly before shipment, we will email you a shipping notification with a tracking number. Check the shipping address carefully! Please update your shipping address and contact us immediately to confirm the update.

Maps are shipped flat between thick cardboards or in solid tubes and usually shipped one or two working days after payment is received.

If your item can be shipped in an A4-size envelope and no Insurance is requested, the reduced shipping rate of $15.00 will be added to your bill. For parcels of more than 1kg, an additional fee applies. You are billed at nominal postal fees.

If you have your own account with FedEx, DHL, or UPS, we can send it through your account, and no shipping fee will be added to your bill.

EUROPEAN BUYERS
Purchases from European buyers will be shipped within Europe and sold in the European VAT system.  VAT/BTW is therefore included but not reclaimable.

AMERICAN TARIFFS
Printed books, maps, prints, and artwork are EXEMPT from Reciprocal Tariffs under Chapter 99 Secondary Classification: 9903.01.31, as informational materials.
If we ship from Europe, there are no tariffs payable upon arrival at the US border.  The Act that introduced tariffs in April (the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA), specifically section 50 U.S.C. §1702(b)) includes clear exemptions for “cultural” and “informational materials”.
That includes paintings, drawings, sculptures, limited editions, and certain books and prints. US lawmakers have historically recognized them as forms of protected speech under the First Amendment.
It is a deliberate mechanism to uphold the United States' broader commitments to free expression and cultural exchange.

For Canadian buyers, please keep in mind that we ship items by DHL Priority. Nowadays, DHL occasionally charges the receiver approximately Can$20.00 for providing the import paperwork.
Australia also imposes a fee on online purchases.

Unfortunately, this is the world we live in today: the buyer is responsible for all applicable taxes, customs clearance, import duties, and equivalent costs at the customer's home border.  [Terms and conditions]
