London (Dublin?), ca 1784, Uncolored. 387x661mm. Quite a good example. Several folds from when it was folded into the book. Two short repaired marginal splits reaching into top border.
One repaired tear approx 70mm into the right side. With faint offsetting and a few small spots. Very small margins.
Captain Cook's large chart of the coasts of Alaska and Russia, centered on Bristol Bay and the Bering Sea.
With tracks and dates of the ships. Unusual edition with "G. Byrne Sculp" in lower right corner, probably published 1784 in London or Dublin.
