On the right bank one sees the church of St Germain Lauxerois, the Castle of the Louvre and the Castle and park Petite Bretagne, the Abbey St. Martin and in the distance Saint Lazare. Passing the Seine and its islands, in the middle of the fields, the St. Andrew Chapel, the convent of St. Julian the Poor and in the distance Our Lady of the Carmelite Fields.

Drawn and engraved by Antoine Coquart, published by Jean - Baptiste Bourguignon d 'Anville (1697-1782), named geographer of the king in 1718, he produced 211 maps which are regarded as the best of his time. Their precision, based on the most recent discoveries, revolutionized cartography. He assembled a beautiful set of city plans to study the urban world, the fortifications and the beautification of cities in the eighteenth century.
