This print represents an allegory of Asia, one of the continents. Since ancient times, the Old World was divided into three continents: Asia, Africa and Europe. A Turkish woman is standing in front of a camel, i.e. the most classic allegory of Asia. She has a turban on her head, and in her left hand she holds a golden scepter (one of the signs of royal, monarchic authority) and in her left hand a lamp with incense (the sacred censer). According to the custom, incensing means strength and wards off against evil spirits.

After a design of Paulus Decker, who was born in Nuremberg. Decker worked under Schlüter during the building of the Schloss in Berlin and in 1707 become Court Architect at Bayreuth.
