Dampierís passage shown stretching between New Guinea and New Britain, and marks his discovery of New Britain in 1700.
There are significant additions and revisions to the North-East Coast of Asia, reflecting the discoveries of early Russian explorerís in the region. Some 'Incognita' lands appear in the Arctic Circle.
The title cartouche shows an Asian potentate pointing his sceptre at three subjects, who bow on their hands and knees before him.
