Topographical and iconographical work on Brabant illustrated with 1 engr. title-vignette and 190 engraved views, plans & armorial plates by J. Harrewijn, G. Bouttats and H. Cause.
Originally published in 1757 as 'Delices du Brabant & de ses campagnes'. The engravings were for the greater part published before in Le Roy's 'Castella' and depict castles & country seats in Brabant. With the plans and profiles of Louvain, Antwerp, Brussels and 's-Hertogenbosch and many views of castles, houses of nobles, ruins and other important estates in the dukedom of Brabant..

With an extensive historical, chronological, geographical and genealogical description translated from French of the 4 quarters of the Duchy of Brabant in present-day Belgium and the Netherlands.
