England, ca. 1820, Original outline colouring.. 235x370mm. The book with wear on the outside, and the cover detached. The pages are mostly clean and neat, with an occasional crease, small spot, or light stain. Paper edges toned. Maps in very good condition, no tears, holes, or repairs.
Unique manuscript atlas with 31 remarkable maps and 27 pages of handwritten text to explain the maps. Each map with names of regions, major cities, rivers, islands, etc.

Spine, corners and hinges all rubbed and worn, both hinges damaged, and boards loose or almost detached. Marbled endpapers. Contents good and clean - mild age toning etc. Maps are lightly wrinkled. Good margins and impression. Size of book block 375 x 275mm.
