Northern France or Flanders, ca. 1300, In original colours.. 138x100mm. 21 lines of text in dark brown ink in a small accomplished gothic hand, capitals touched in red, rubrics in red, two-line initials in red, light- or dark blue contrasting grounds. Vellums very lightly age-toned. Both sides are illuminated with striking initials extending with elaborate pen work into the margin.
