Very rare and unrecorded double hemisphere map of the World. The map showing Nueva Hollanda (Australia), "Lago Hermoso" or Sea of the West, along with Lago Velasco, lands described by the Moscovites, lands near the Arctic Circle discovered by Admiral de Fuente, and other interesting details.
South of Tierra del Fuego, the passage supposedly discovered by Drake in 1578 is shown. The west coast of New Zealand is shown, including Bahya de S. Phelipe and Cabo Maria. Several of the islands in the Pacific includes dates of discovery.
The map is of interest for the naming of "Mar Oriental Menor" for the sea between Korea and Japan.

The map provides credits to Johann Matthias Haas (1684-1742), who made maps for the Homann Heirs publishing firm and to G. De L'Isle. The map is very similar to a world map by J.B. Homann. In lower left corner an inset of wind turbulence's.

Pedro Gendron, recorded in the National Library of Portugal and the Technische Universitiat Bergakademie in Germany. However, this example includes a different title and annotations.
