Buyers' premium
The buyer pays, on top of the hammer price, a premium of 15% on the first $30,000 and 10% on the excess.

We warranty the authenticity of each old map, print, atlas, medieval manuscript described in this catalogue. There is no time limitation to this garantuee.
- Splits, tears, discolouration and other defects are carefully noted. In addition we use a condition rating system certificate
 If the condition report does not show remarks about splits, tears, discolouration, etc; this means there are non to be found in the item!.
 As a general rule we try to offer maps of a high quality standard

-Any lot differing from the catalogue description may be returned for a full refund. help
- A certificate of authenticity is provided for each acquired antique map, print, medieval manuscript.
The certificate can be downloaded from your invoice page. Update your preference if you want us to print and ship the certificate within your parcel.

Colour
Colour is by hand; If the colours are applied at publication we note this in the catalog as "original colours". If the colours are applied recently we use "coloured".

Proxy bid

Reserve price
Most sellers prefer setting a reserve price when selling their items.
As a general rule a reserve price is set at 20% under the low estimate.
If your bid happens to be lower than the "reserve price", the text message (*Reserve not yet met) will be shown. You have to raise your bid until the "reserve price" is met.
Sellers are able to reduce a reserve price until 24 hours before the close. If you have under reserve bids less than 24 hours before the close you have to raise your bid at a minimum up to the reserve to win the item.
Items are no longer available after the close.

Closing
Beginning at 5:55 PM U.S.A. EST the computer will check each item at 5 minutes intervals. If there has been no bidding activity for the last 5 minutes the computer will close the bidding on that item exactly at 6PM.
If there has been a bid in the past 5 minutes, that individual item will remain open, until there have been no bids received for 5 minutes.
