Condition: In-8 oblong, modern limp vellum. Suite of 12 copper engravings.Some light brown spots and a marginal restoration at the bottom margin of the pl. 12 with small lack of paper.
Condition Rating

Complete suite of 12 copper engravings representing of Sea divinities with scroll work and cupids. Gabriel Weyer (Nuremberg 1576–1632 Nuremberg) was an engraver and painter who worked around 1610 in Nuremberg, where he painted several pictures, made designs for other engravers. He apparently specialized in the representation of sea monsters.
Very rare. According to the title page published by Peter Isselburg (1568–1626).
