Canvas-backed with original wooden rollers, well attached.
Original colour. No missing areas and minimal cracking and whitening.
Typical yellowing from the oxidation of the varnish. Damp staining at upper right that is hardly noticeable because of the yellowing of the varnish. Small hole in upper left corner has been repaired.

Possibly the most interesting and attractive 19th century wall map of North America.
