The Latin text page is illustrated with a depiction of two lovers happened to have lived in Italy: a knight named Eurialus, who was the personal attendant of Emperor Sigismund, and Lucretia, of the city of Siena. Both were handsome but Lucretia excelled in her marvelous beauty.
